The Sun Always Shines on My Listings

This summer has been colder and wetter than normal. We’ve all seen way too many gray skies, and those gray skies are showing on real estate photos.
Gray skies don’t sell properties.
Here is the covered second-story patio at a condo I just listed. Yes, it’s a nice patio and the decorating is excellent. The sellers and stager really did their part well! But can you imagine yourself sitting outside on this photo? It looks sort of cold, maybe some rain is coming… Gray skies just aren’t inviting.
So I fixed it.
Now imagine sitting outside! It’s a beautiful sunny day, pleasantly warm, and very inviting! The shot with the new blue sky is a photo that sells.
No, changing the sky after the fact isn’t easy. It’s also anything but cheap. But the sun always shines on my listings, which means that my sellers get more online views, more showing requests, and more (and higher!) offers. It’s worth the extra expense to me, and blue skies are part of what my sellers enjoy at no additional cost. It’s just another part of my seller package of services.
